After completing the first part of our mission trip in Cambodia, we traveled to Pakistan, where we stayed from March 13 to 20, 2025. Our team consisted of four people—two Brazilians (two pastors) and two Americans (a pastor and a videographer), representing three churches. We were able to witness God’s movement amid great need and suffering.
Pakistan has a population of approximately 244 million people and is predominantly Islamic. Only 1.04% of the population professes the Christian faith, placing Pakistan 8th on the World Watch List for Christian Persecution, according to Open Doors Mission.
Minority groups face extremely challenging social conditions, and many Christian families are forced into hard, precarious labor without access to education, living in conditions akin to slavery—especially in brick factories. Children are taken to work in these factories from an early age to help their parents, with little hope for change or better opportunities.
We witnessed this harsh reality firsthand, and these were the main actions carried out during the trip:
✅ Rescue and Support for Families in Conditions Similar to Slavery
We rescued a family living in forced labor in a brick factory, providing support and new opportunities to rebuild their lives.
We prayed for approximately 500 workers in one of the factories, bringing hope and the love of God amid such harsh circumstances.
✅ Care for Children in Critical Health Condition
We are funding and overseeing the care of two children in critical health, ensuring access to medical treatment and necessary support.
✅ Investment in Education and Infrastructure
We funded the renovation of a school unit inside one of the brick factories, providing a better environment for children’s education and development.
This step is essential to break the cycle of poverty and lack of opportunity afflicting local Christian families.
✅ Training and Spiritual Strengthening
We participated in three ministry sessions, bringing encouragement and spiritual guidance to local leaders and workers.
We held a training session on prophetic worship for 26 leaders, strengthening the spiritual foundation and teaching the importance of seeking God amid persecution and hardship.
✅ Connections and Mobilization for Unreached Peoples
We established strategic connections to expand and mobilize efforts for Unreached Peoples and to rescue and support families and children in Pakistan.
We recorded audiovisual material for the project “Missions with Purpose,” which will be used in training and mobilizing new missionaries for this needy nation.
The need for continuity of this work is urgent! Many Christian families remain vulnerable without access to education and opportunities. Child labor in brick factories remains a harsh reality, and religious persecution makes missionary work challenging but also highlights the importance of bringing the Gospel to those who have never heard of Jesus.
We thank everyone who supported us in prayer and resources. The impact of this mission was only possible thanks to the generosity and commitment of those who believe God’s love can reach even the most challenging places.
During the trip, we met the family of Suneha, the first Pakistani child to join our sponsorship program. The family’s debt was paid off, and they are being removed from the brick factory.
Our goal, besides funding Suneha’s education every month, is to rent a house for the family outside the factory grounds and, in the future, to gift her father—who is ill—a motorcycle so he can work elsewhere.
To achieve this, we need USD 285 monthly (USD 35 for education and USD 250 for housing). You can contribute by making a donation or sponsoring Suneha. Both options are available on our website: https://nationshelp.org

We count on your prayers and support to continue relief, education, and spiritual strengthening operations in Pakistan.
