Brazil is impacted by compassion
Founder of New Life 4 kids and a partner of Nations Help (NH), Miriam Frederick was one of the preachers at the 2018 Nations Censorship Conference. She has been active in Haiti for 35 years, and Miriam recounts how her call came from a book about the country, in a residence where she was cleaning, until it became a reality through intercessory prayer. Her impactful testimony regarding her trajectory and the reality of the country brought the understanding and the desire to experience and express the true compassion of Jesus for the children.
The connection with NH began in 2012, from a meeting with Pr. Leonardo Paulino: “It was with her that I first entered the mountains near the city of Pestel in the south of the country. There we rescued children about to die! Lovense, at age five, was one of the survivors adopted by a Christian American family, the result of this rescue mission in the mountains” says Pr Leonardo. New Life 4 Kids and NH have a strong partnership in Haiti, promoting nutrition programs with the participation of the local Church, where 1,589 children are approximately served monthly.
Míriam Frederick in her ministry made clear the essential need for intimacy with the Holy Spirit for any level of involvement and performance with missions. According to Pr Leonardo, “the visit of Miriam and her team have awakened many people in Brazil in favor of children and missionary work. Once again, she was the voice of those who have no voice. We thank God for this time in Brazil with the friends of New Life 4 Kids and that together we can be a response in favor of children who are dying in the nations!”
