Hello! My name is Louana Alexis and I was rescued to a new home by Social Services when I was about 3 years old. I was malnourished, with several physical disabilities. When I arrived, I could not walk, but I was blessed with corrective surgery. With the physiotherapy program, now I’m learning to walk! When someone visits me, they can see how happy I am now. I love playing with my toys and I’m very curious actually. If you stay close enough to me, it’s already a reason to rejoice. Being here at the New Life orphanage has been a godsend because I have received so much love from the people who work here. In addition we have received the help and love of the Nations Help missionaries where we have received attention and all the necessary care so that I can grow and be a happy child.
