From the heavens, a voice, and an answer.
Every call must begin in the heavens. All compassion needs to have God as the source! It is not our compassion, but the compassion of the Father!
In December 2012, after I and a small team visited more than a dozen villages and heard about what was happening to many children in Cambodia, we decided to go to Thailand. There, in the rich northern country, I had a profound experience of intercession and confirmation of the call to the Cambodian nation. Our guide in Thailand, a young Cambodian woman who served our Christian connection, revealed to us in tears her story, how she was forced to become involved in prostitution and how she got out of that world. The day after the story, the girl wanted to take us to a park in that country, and this was the auspicious setting that God chose to talk to me about the lost childhood of Cambodia.
At lunchtime, the sun was very hot and the skies were clean. The team decided to have lunch and I, moved by uncontrollable compassion, decided to pray. As I walked out into a more secluded spot, I looked up at the heavens. The tears were intense. The compassion for the children of Cambodia took over my whole being and with tears, I heard the Spirit speak to me: “They are my daughters, they are my daughters; I want my daughters, I want my daughters!
Only God can do that. Only He can place deep compassion within us! May we be sensitive to His voice! The fire of compassion for the children of Cambodia never ceased!
May the nations come. Give us, Lord, your daughters, and Cambodia as an inheritance.

For the girls in Cambodia!
We were in Cambodia again in November 2017. And from January 2018 we will be launching seeds of compassion and relief actions in that nation. We will fund education for young people who are no longer able to study, are Christian, and live in risky areas. Join us now by making a love offering at the link below:
