Quarterly report 1 of 2018 (Haiti – Delma 33)
We would like to share with you what has happened to the children being assisted by Nations Help (from January to March 2018) in Port-au-Prince on the leadership of missionary Ezechiel. Currently, 87 children are being rescued on fronts that also involve their families: food and education programs, biblical discipleship, music, and English classes are being held.
The children were taught on average four times a week, with Bible study, worship, prayer, and discipleship. They have received teachings on the following topics: (1) the importance of God’s responsibility to our lives and our brothers; (2) the development of daily prayer life; (3) the child of God based on the life of Jesus; (4) and 5 important words from the book of proverbs for children. In addition to the food and education programs, which have ensured that children remain in schools, a nurse has also been teaching children about the importance of vaccines and the problem of diarrhea, a common illness in Haiti.
All of the program’s actions in the lives of these children have greatly increased educational development and, above all, have transformed their testimony in the community, at school, and within the family. Today we have children reaching out and influencing other children. This is too wonderful! We wish to thank you who have been involved with us. If you don’t know our sponsorship program yet, we wish to invite you. Access the children’s stories and sponsor now.
We want to build and bless your life with a phrase from the leader of Nations Help in Haiti, Ezechiel:
“Many children would be on the streets in a precarious condition if there was no program such as the Nations Help one, which has guaranteed school resources and materials to promote their entry and continuity in school.”
