Hello! My name is Yemina Mongouin. I was born healthy in Port au Prince. When I was very young, I suffered from a chronic fever that caused great neurological damage. My parents could not take care of me anymore and took me to an orphanage. Here I continued to suffer because of unimaginable living conditions. Unfortunately I suffered from severe malnutrition. By God’s grace, I was rescued from it and came to New Life on March 21, 2017. When I arrived, I could not move my head or my limbs and I cried all the time. Now I’m getting better every week and I do not cry anymore! I’m happy and I know I’m safe. Thank you for being a response of love and hope in my life.
