Hello! My name is Silvain Steevenlove. I live in the neighborhood of Waff Jeremié (Cité Soleil), one of the largest and most dangerous favela complexes in the city of Port-au-Prince. My father abandoned me when I was 3 years old. Today I live with my mother who sells offal in the streets to help support our house. I like to study and my favorite subject is Math, because I have a lot of ease with it. I like to sing and I can sing a lot of songs. I like football and I’m a fan of Neymar and Messi. My biggest dream is to be a doctor to help sick children who are not treated because the parents do not have the money to pay a doctor. Today my family and I participate in the programs of Nations Help receiving food aid, school assistance and my mother in the future will participate in craft workshops that will generate income for my whole family.
