Hello! My name is Samson Michel. I depend on my wheelchair, but I’m usually with a toy microphone in my hand, happily worshiping the Lord. I love it when the visitors sing along with me! My joy and determination are legendary! My father brought me to New Life when I was about 8 years old and I received abundant love and care here. I have not seen my father in a few years, so I’m not sure he’s still alive. I suffer from severe scoliosis that may be linked to cerebral palsy and other conditions that keep me confined in my wheelchair. As I mentioned, I love to sing, but I also love tying beads. When I miss one, I just laugh, and then I try again. The church services are also special to me. While I struggle most days with headaches, I am optimistic about life. The joy of the Lord is my strength!
