Hello! My name is Lucsondes and I come from Pestel, Haiti. I was born in 2009 and, as a young boy, life was quite normal. But after a few years, I had a serious fall and walking became more and more difficult for me. It was very difficult for my mother to take care of me, so in 2015 she brought me to the New Life House. My overall health is very good now, but I have much more difficulty with my legs, being impossible to walk. Because of this I am unable to go to school – I hope one day I will be able to go. New Life has been very good to me and there is hope that I will get expert treatment to find out what is wrong with my legs. Despite this, it’s fun to laugh and play with the other kids here at New Life; It’s a pleasure to help in the things I can do. I love the playground and playing with strollers and trucks. Could you, in partnership with Nations Help, help me get that specialized treatment I need to continue growing?
