Hello! My name is Kerson Surin. I was born in Joly Gilbert. When I was a baby my mother abandoned our family, letting my father take care of us. He failed to do this and took me to Pestel in April 2016. I was very sick from malnutrition and a severe skin condition. At Pestel, people from New Life found me and took me back to Port-au-Prince. I’m still not well. My heart sometimes does not beat right and I have trouble breathing. New Life in partnership with Nations Help gave me a home where I am loved and cared for. Although I’m not completely well, I get on well and I can play. Thank you for being a response of love in favor of my life.
