Hello! My name is Jean Jerry. I was abandoned by my parents, but nothing has erased my smile and my sweetness. I was adopted by a widow, but she has no job and sells in the streets to help my livelihood. I have had serious health problems due to a gland in the genital organ, but I have to live with the disease because in Haiti public hospitals only operate children above 7 years old and I am 6 years old. I really like to study and my favorite subject is Kreyol (Creole Language). I love playing soccer with my friends and my biggest dream is to be a teacher to teach the needy children in my neighborhood to read and write.
Today my adoptive mother and I participate in the Nations Help programs receiving monthly food aid, school aid and income generation through the handicraft workshops that will generate income for my family.
