Hello! My name is Fleurimond Pierre Louis and I remember the first time I came to the New Life House in partnership with Nations Help. My parents were killed during the terrible earthquake that toppled Haiti in 2010, so my grandmother brought me here because there was no one left who could take care of me. The trauma of losing my parents still hurts, but I am grateful to be here because they take good care of me. I remember how good it was the first time they took us all to the beach. Being able to go to school is very cool and math is my favorite subject. When I’m an adult, I want to be a pastor. I want to pray for people and see them healed, just as New Life has helped heal my heart and body.
