I was born on 30 October 2005
Hello! My name is Cristela Mede. I currently live in the town of Waf Jéremie (Cité Soleil) Port-au-Prince, one of the most dangerous favela complexes in the city of Port-au-Prince. I was abandoned by my father at six months. I live with my younger sister and my mother who eventually washes clothes for people when someone comes looking for this service. I love studying and biology is my favorite subject.
I also like to draw and one day I want to be a police officer to put order in Waf-Jeremie and protect people from violence. Currently we have received help from Nations Help for our food, education and income generation enabling my mother to participate in craft workshops that will also generate income for our family.
