Hello! My name is Benson and I was rescued from Pestel because I was very sick due to malnutrition and several other diseases. After arriving in Port-au-Prince, I spent the first two months in the hospital and then came to New Life in partnership with Nations Help to recover. My back and knees were covered with scabies. I also had a very serious infection and many smallpox scars that I had suffered. But through God’s mercy shown to me by the loving staff and medical staff here at New Life, I’m now healthy, and I have a big appetite! Now I can play and I love to laugh. Please help me to continue to grow and live a life full of hope and to fulfill God’s purpose for me!
