Hello, my name is Sterline “Bom’Homme”, I live in Port au Prince, Haiti.
I would like to share a little about my story with you. Sadly I am part of the high number of abandoned children in Haiti. I don’t know who my father is, and all that is known about my mother is that she came from far away and in the middle of the night abandoned me at the front door of an orphanage. She was led by pure desperation so that I wouldn’t die of hunger. Unfortunately this orphanage closed a few months ago, and I was left alone again with just the clothes I had on. Thank God I was rescued by this good hearted lady, whom already takes care of two other children, which were also abandoned. This woman is called Marie, and she named me Sterline “Bom’Homme” – with her family’s name. I am 6 years old, I cannot walk and all I can pronounce is “mamam”. I believe that through the Nations Help project my life is going to get so much better. Thank you for being an answer of love and mercy in favor of my life!
Now that you know a little about Sterline “Bom’Homme” story, by becoming her sponsor you will help maintain health programs (which includes doctor’s visit, exams and medications – when prescribed by a doctor), food, and education (including school supplies). The program also offers spiritual investment, through biblical discipleship and study of the Word of God. We teach the children about the Kingdom of God and the transformational gospel of Jesus Christ.
